We are always very busy in Year 1 and would like to share some photos of our learning and events which have taken place this year.

Autumn Term

For 6 weeks group 2 have enjoyed taking part in a range of activities with our forest school leader, Katie. The children have been learning all about how to care for the environment and what we can find in nature.

The children in Year 1 have been very busy celebrating Christmas! We have made Christmas cards, performed Nativities to our adults, had a special visitor and had a very yummy Christmas lunch!

In History, we were learning all about Toys. We went to Willesden Library and took part in a Toy Workshop. We played with lots of toys from the past.

Fire Brigade Visit 18th Oct 2022

Our overarching theme for Autumn One was Superheros. We learnt about superheroes in the community and had Willesden Fire Bridgade come to visit our school. The children really enjoyed asking firefighters questions and exploring the fire engine.
