Home Learning
We at Our Lady of Grace firmly believe in the development of home school partnerships - when these are strong, your children thrive and flourish.
This academic year, we have made the decision to provide you with a very comprehensive curriculum information leaflet every half term. This acts as an information source for topics under study and provides detail of how the topic will be used as a rich learning experience for the children.
We encourage all parents to use the curriculum leaflet as a stimulus for home learning - they can help initiate conversations with your child, there may be a sharing of opinion or knowledge and it may encourage you to research the topic together with library visits.
We all know that children learn from memorable experiences - thus parents are encouraged to make relevant topic visits to places of interest, museums etc.
Supporting your child's learning at home
Parents may be interested to know that a vast range of supporting software is freely available for use while your child is attending a London school. The website is my.uso.im which may be accessed using your child's username and password. Children should be very familiar with these usernames and passwords.
A login screen initially appears, into which your child should enter their details. This brings you to a screen displaying a library of software in addition to an Our Lady of Grace Library tab.
If you have any difficulties accessing this site ,do not hesitate to contact the school.
